Season-long over/under on how many regular-season wins a team will record. The cleanest futures market.
A win total is a sportsbook’s posted line for a team’s regular-season wins. You bet over or under.
Example: Packers win total 9.5
- Over 9.5 → Packers must win 10 or more regular-season games
- Under 9.5 → Packers must win 9 or fewer
Win totals are the cleanest futures market because there’s just one number to evaluate. Sharp bettors weight schedule strength, projected QB starts, divisional matchups, and over/under bias (most public bettors bet overs).
Books juice win totals harder than spreads; expect -115 to -125 on both sides instead of -110.
