Oneida Casino Sportsbook

The Oneida Casino Sportsbook in Green Bay was the first legal sportsbook to open in Wisconsin, launching in 2021 after the Oneida Nation amended its Class III gaming compact with the state. It set the template that every Wisconsin tribal sportsbook has followed since.

Location & Setting

The sportsbook is housed inside the main Oneida Casino property, less than two miles from Lambeau Field. Its proximity to the Packers’ home stadium has made it the de facto game-day sportsbook for NFL Sundays in northeastern Wisconsin.

What You Can Bet On

  • Pro sports: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, soccer, golf, tennis, MMA, motorsports
  • College sports: Out-of-state programs only; wagering on the Wisconsin Badgers, Marquette Golden Eagles or any in-state college team is prohibited
  • Bet types: Moneyline, point spread, totals, parlays, teasers, futures, in-game (live) wagers, prop bets

How It Works

All wagers must be placed in person at the betting counter or self-service kiosks. Online and mobile wagering is not yet available anywhere in Wisconsin; that will change once the state’s tribes finalize the updated compacts called for under 2025 Wisconsin Act 247. Until then, retail at Oneida is one of three places in the state where legal sports bets can be placed.

Operator Background

The Oneida Nation is one of 11 federally recognized tribes in Wisconsin. The tribe has operated Class III gaming under compact with the state since the 1990s and was the first to push for sports-betting authority after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down PASPA in 2018.
