Menominee Casino Resort

The Menominee Casino Resort is operated by the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin in Keshena, on the tribe’s reservation in Menominee County. The property has not yet launched a retail sportsbook but is eligible to do so under an updated Class III compact.

Sportsbook Status

The Menominee tribe is one of 11 federally recognized tribes in Wisconsin and one of eight that have not yet added sports betting. Under 2025 Wisconsin Act 247, the tribe is expected to negotiate updated compact provisions that would allow both retail and mobile wagering through the state’s hub-and-spoke framework.

Location

Keshena is in northeastern Wisconsin, roughly 50 miles northwest of Green Bay along Highway 47/55. The casino is the primary entertainment property on the Menominee Reservation.

What’s Likely at Launch

  • Standard pro-sports markets: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, soccer, MMA, golf, tennis
  • Out-of-state college only; the in-state college restriction applies statewide
  • Retail kiosks and counter service inside the casino
  • Eventual mobile access under the statewide hub-and-spoke model

Operator Background

The Menominee Tribe is the oldest continuously residing tribe in what is now Wisconsin, with a reservation that covers most of Menominee County. The tribe has operated Class III gaming under compact with the state for over two decades.
